What Angels Fear by C.S. Harris

A Regency Mystery

Sebastien St. Cyr, Viscount Devlin is the hero of the regency series by C.S. Harris.  The Prince Regent rules Britain by proxy for his father , King George lll, who is too ill (insane) to continue with his duties. Napoleon is at war with England and the Aristocracy thrives at the expense of the common man, but Sebastien is a man determined to pursue justice at any cost. He is an aristocrat who loves the wrong woman and associates with the wrong people , but he doesn’t care what the rest of his peers in the “ton” think about him.  He is fearless, emotionally wounded, and rather sexy…His own private life is full of secrets which are gradually revealed with each book. He isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty so the reader is introduced to the sparkling ballrooms of the aristocracy and the gloom and filth of 1811 London. These are “can”t put down” mysteries with a dashing hero.

The  books in the series are…..

What Angels Fear (2005)

When Gods Die (2006)

Why Mermaids Sing (2007)

Where Serpents Sleep (2008)

What Remains of Heaven (2009)

Where Shadows Dance (2011)
